If you have been following the blogs on this page (located on the right hand side), you have read the post entitled "Linked In Profile More Important than Resume". In this blog, Alex Freund, "The Landing Expert", talks about the importance of a LinkedIn profile. Because a LinkedIn profile is open to the World, it can sometimes be more valuable than a resume. Mr. Freund says that more and more recruiters and human resource professional are using LinkedIn to search for candicates.
Mr. Freund has some suggestions as to how to make your LinkedIn profile more effective.

**Be sure to check that your information is not private
All good suggestions if you have a LinkedIn account. But how many of the clients at Network RI do? I'd like to hear from you. Do you have a LinkedIn account? Do you know what one is? Do you use other social networking sites such as Facebook or MySpace? How important is making connections through the internet?
